Thinzar M’s drawing Once there was a greedy bhikkunī who knew a place to get the best alms but she did not want to share the alms there so she said there were dangers there but one day when she a went there a ram charged at her and she broke her leg a person passed by and helped her to the monastery. Other bhikkunīs talked about how she didn’t follow her own warning so the Buddha told a story of the past. Once the Buddha was born as a bird who became a king one bird knew a spot with the best grains and didn’t tell and one about it instead she said it was dangerous to go there so they listened but one day as she was eating grains she heard a carriage in the distance and thought it was far away but it was actually going very fast so the bird got trapped by the hooves of the houses and flattened by the wheels. The king seeing that the bird had not returned made a search party and found her flattened body on the place she warned not to go.Kids’ drawing
