092 Mahāsāra Jātaka (JTA 1.40) The Queen’s Necklace Ashin Sarana:
Yamona’s drawing Venerable Ananda was teaching Dhamma to the King Pasenadi’s wives at the palace . One day the king’s precious jewelry was stolen . Because of venerable Amanda’s advice, the gem was found without causing any trouble to the people. When the Buddha heard about this, he told the story of the past. In one of the past lives, the Buddha to be was a wise minister for the king and venerable Ananda was the king . One day the queen lost her necklace in the garden . The necklace was taken by the monkey. But the king’s men caught 5 innocent men because those confessed that they took the necklace. However the wise minister knew that the men were innocent and he found the theft monkey and returned the necklace and saved the men’s lives.Kids’ drawing
