Thinzar M’s drawing Once people where fighting for water so the buddha told a story of the past-> Once a lion was hunting and waited for his prey under a phandana tree when a gust of wind blew a dead branch on the lions shoulder. The lion jumped back and thought he was attacked but when he saw nothing he thought it was the deva of the phandana tree and because he did nothing wrong and sought revenge on the tree. When a wheelwright came by to find wood the lion told the wheelwright that the phandana tree was the best to make wheels so the wheelwrignt followed his advice when the deva saw this he decided to kill the lion before he died so he told the wheelwright that lion hides will make the wheel better so they both ended up dead. The buddha concluded that how the lion killed the deva and the deva killed the lion they eached died so it was better to live in harmony and peace instead of war.Kids’ drawing
