VII. 8. Not by the Faith of Another

One day, the Buddha asked Elder Sariputta a question, and Sariputta then answered. However, the monks misunderstood the answer as Elder Sariputta saying he did not give up false view and did not believe the Buddha. When the Buddha heard this he explained the true meaning of the question and answer saying that Sariputta does not walk upon the faith of others.
