Kaitlyn Liu's summary:
A child of a respectable family living at Sāvatthi, after hearing a sermon of the Teacher, retired from the world, was received into the Order, made his full profession, and attained Arahatship in a few days. This child was known as Elder Saṅgharakkhita. His younger sister gave birth to a son & named him after the Elder who came to be known as Nephew Saṅgharakkhita. When Nephew Saṅgharakkhita came of age, he entered the Order under his uncle & after making his full profession, entered the residence at a certain village monastery. He received 2 sets of robes worn by monks during the period of rain, 1 7-cubits long & another 8 cubits long, he decided to present the robe 8 cubits long to his preceptor & to keep the robe 7 cubits long for himself. One day, he arrived at the monastery before his uncle so he swept the quarters, set out water, prepared a seat & then sat down, watching the road. When the Nephew offered the Elder his robe, the Elder refused to accept the robe so the young monk pondered and thought to sell the robe and buy a she-goat. Once he has accumulated some capital, he would find a wife who bears him a son & name the son after his uncle. So, the young monk struck the Elder on the head with his fan but, the Elder figured out what his nephew was doing so, the nephew ran away. The other monks captured him and brought him back to the Elder. In the end, the young monk realized his wrongs.
