Yamona’s drawing In the Buddha time there was 500 bhikhus who tried to become lay secretly. The Buddha said that wrongdoing can not be kept secret. Then he told the story of the past. Long ago the Bodhisatta was born into a brahmin family. When he was the proper age he was sent to study with the teacher who had 500 students. When his daughter was ready for marriage, the teacher told his students that if they want to marry his daughter they had to steal anything of value in complete secret. The Bodhisatta refused to steal and the teaches asked why. The Bodhisatta said that any wrongdoing can not be in complete secret. The teacher said he didn’t need things of value in fact he needed a man who told the truth. He had his daughter married Bodhisatta and told his students to return the stolen stuffs.Kids’ drawing
