One day householder, said to his wife that he wanted to become a monk, but the wife was reluctant. But in the end the householder became a monk and attained enlightenment. The monk came back to Savatthi to see his family and preached the law to his son. Inspired, the son became a monk, and also became enlightened. The wife finally decided to become a nun and also became enlightened.
