Sandi M's summary:
Godhika attained emancipation of the mind by the practice of meditation, however he was attacked by a certain disease that prevented him from entering a state of trance. After failing to enter the state of trance seven times, he deems it time to use a razor to shave his head, then sever his windpipe. Māra, a demon, perceived his intentions and tried to stop him, thinking that Godhika desired and meditated death. The Teacher doesn’t interfere as he knows this isn’t true, that Godhika simply does not yearn for life, and has attained Nibbāna. Māra, searches for Godhika’s consciousness after his death and when The Teacher informs him that Godhika has made it to Nibbāna Māra vanishes.
