Andre Thu’s drawing Once there were two bhikkus who were very good friends, and the buddha told that there were two men who had stayed friends for four lives in a row in the past, and as per request he told about two cousins who grew up very close and were candalas. When they were older they went to cleans the gates on the northern and eastern side, and at the same time two people, followed by crowds enticed by the free food, were going through these gates and were disgusted by the candalas so the feast was no more the crowds beat the candalas for causing this. The candalas then disguised as brahmins and went to the school and soon people found out they were candalas so they were kicked out and became ascetics and soon died. They were reborn as some osprey together then were killed by a fowler. Then they were born as deer, and were killed by a hunter. Finally, one was born and became king and the other an ascetic. After about fifty years, the ascetic came back to try to persuade him to join him and taught him how to live virtuously.Kids’ drawing
