A Log Pays a Better Return

Once a mean prince carried by a log, and an ascetic saved him. Three animals also were saved. The ascetic fed the animals first, which infuriated the prince. This awful prince tried to kill the ascetic. Then, the citizens offered the crown to the ascetic, who gave the snake the golden tube, the rat a crystal house and the parrot got a golden cage.
