Zwezarni Htun’s drawing In Jetavana, the Buddha recounted the tale of Punnalakkhanna, a maid who borrowed her mistress’s necklace for a festival. She encountered a friendly-looking man who turned out to be a thief; she pushed him into a well. The Buddha then shared the story of Sattuka, a notorious thief caught by traps set by the governor. Despite relief, a merchant named Sulasa paid to release Sattuka, claiming a false relationship. Sattuka planned to kill Sulasa for the money but was outsmarted.
