Thinzar M’s drawing Once Devadatta lost all his honor because he tried to kill the buddha. The monks talked about how he lost all his honor and when the buddha heard this he told them it was not the first time devadatta lost all his honor and then told a story of the past. Once the buddha was born as a bird and had one brother, one day they got caught and sent to the king who treated them with lots of attention and they became the court favorites. One day they brought a monkey and the monkey could do many tricks and quickly became the court favorite which the birds did not get the attention they use to get. One of the birds were tired of being there and wanted to go back to the forest but the buddha said to wait for the monkey might scare the princess and get kick out and soon the monkey did get kick out andthe birds regaind there attention.Kids’ drawing
