Once some bhikkhus were talking about Devadatta and the Buddha heard, so he told the story of the past. Once 4 gods had wreaths and the king’s advisor wanted one of the wreaths, but he had to be following the virtues of what the 4 gods said, and he lied all four times so he got a punishment .The Kings’s advisor learnt his lesson after that.
