Andre Thu’s drawing Once there was a king mad at a queen for being consumed in her pride when she just became a queen, and when the Buddha heard of this dilemma he went to the palace and told the king that he was the one who had made her this way and he should not be mad. The buddha restored peace and harmony, and he told that this was not the first time he had done this, and in the past there was a king. A fruit-seller came and the king immediately fell in love with her and she became queen. When the king was eating a fruit, the queen asked what kind of fruit it was and the king became mad and demoted her back to a fruit-seller. The chief advisor talked to the king and realized he is mistake, apologized, and they were married again.May’s drawing A king was looking outside and saw a beautiful girl selling dates. He then married her and she became queen. Later the king ate some dates that the queen was selling before. The queen saw and asked what it was and the king was shocked. He said she was too proud to be his queen and told her to go.
