Thinzar M’s drawing Once there was an elderly monk who wanted to ask Sāriputta a difficult question thinking it would puzzle Sāriputta and then making himself gain popularity but instead of answering Sāriputta left without answering. When the nuns monks and laypeople saw him leave they were furious and chased him but when the elderly monk ran out he tripped into a hole filled with waste and feeling sorry the laypeople went to the Buddha and asked about the elderly monk. The Buhhda told them that it wasn’t the first time that he challenged the strong and ended up the same and by there request he told a story of the past. Once there was a Lion who was getting himself a drink of water and saw a bore thing he would hunt it later he quietly walked away but the bore thought he was afraid so he challenged the Lion but when he told his friends they told him that he would end up dead so they told him to roll in some waste without bathing in till the fight. When the Lion smelled the bore he decided to spare him and the bore went back and bragged that he won but the rest were afraid the lion would come back and kill them so they left him.Kids’ drawing
