Andre Thu’s drawing One day, six bikkhus were bullying some other bikkhus, so then these bikkhus told the buddha about this. When the gang of bikkhus confessed to the buddha, he told this story. There was a calf who was nurtured by a kind brahmin, and grew up to be a strong bull. When this brahmin wagered one thousand coins in a bet where his bull could pull one hundred carts, the bull did not move because he called him a rascal. So then he tried again and wagered two thousand coins, but he did not call the bull rascal so he won.May’s drawing One day, 6 bhikkhus were bullying other bhikkhus so the bhikkhus that were bullied went to go tell the Buddha and the Buddha told the 6 bhikkhus a story about a calf. The calf was owned by a brahmin and one day the calf told the Brahmin to find a merchant and say that he has a bull that can pull 100 carts. The Brahmin did this and called the calf a rascal and the calf got mad so he didn’t pull. The next day the calf told the Brahmin to not call him a rascal and the Brahmin said okay.
